3rd purchase. I have wanted this piece for weeks, and finally ordered when I received a gift card. The unboxing experience is everything. The concept is lovely with so much potential, but the execution fell short. It’s lighter than I expected. The velvet liner bottom was not applied well, with areas going outside of the line of the alligator’s body, or in between toes so that it is visible and sticky to the touch. I will need to refine with a blade. There are several areas on the alligator where it seems there was dust or particles not properly cleaned off in advance of painting leaving bumps- the only thing that saves this piece from looking unrefined is the textured nature of the alligator skin. Otherwise, the lack of a smooth finish would be a detractor. Similar comment on 2 of the 4 trays- drippy looking top lip. I am happy with the fragrance. Overall, the Grand Alligator is OK, but at nearly a 1k when you consider shipping and taxes, my expectations were higher on the execution.

The Silver Buddha has become one of my favorite purchases from Thompson Ferrier. The fragrance is Fruity and Tropical Floral that sets a refreshing and tranquil mood. The vessel is a stunning piece on the mantle above my fireplace paired with the Blue Buddha. If you are looking for a luxury statement piece that adds to your interior decor that delivers amazing room fragrance, the Silver Buddha is it.
Elegant design, needs no adornment around it. The fragrance is present even when it’s not lit!

The quality of the box is stunning as well as the scents we selected but I cannot give 5 stars because all the 8 mini wax candles had a major problem with the wick. As soon as the wax melted it shifted from the center and very quickly was below the wax level and would go out, making it impossible to relight it afterward and leaving us unable to burn each candle all the way down. Perhaps more care should be taken when securing the wicks to the base.

I loved everything about unboxing this set. The Discovery Set is beautifully packaged, and I am hard-pressed to pick a "favorite." More specifically, the discovery set gives me the possibility of getting a true scent profile when burning. I truly could not be happier. I feel like I can make a more informed decision when selecting my next candle.
