Thompson Ferrier's gold elephant candle is designed in our NYC office and finished by hand sculpting the ceramic of each vessel. Our candles are then hand filled with a proprietary soy wax blend, all natural essential oils, and 2 cotton wicks to provide a clean burn.

Purchase underestimated

It is my second time purchasing 7 candles in total. The reason I'm giving 1 star is because the elephant is gorgeous, but the reason for my purchase is not only for decor, I am a candle lover and a low profile reviewer. I bought Fresh Pine & Eucalyptus Gold Elephant, the scent sometimes I can perceive rotten bananas, sometimes I must admit I do feel the pine scent, but you need to have your nose on the wax and concentrate to get the smell.
Now, here comes the other real reason of my review. Despite that my 1st purchase was not successful at all given to the terms and conditions that was not refundable due to old inventory, the scent was there in the candle but not spreading in the room, I wanted to give it a second chance. I made my second order, the Gold Elephant was included, the very first moment I lighted, high flame with strong black soot coming out and the wick started mushrooming, the reason that this may be caused was to improper size of the wick, candle is taking on a greater amount of wax that it can burn, thus meaning that the wick becomes too hot, and creates the unpleasant looking excess carbon. I immediately sent Raffi a message of any suggestions (never ask for a refund, never expecting a refund) but since I follow him on Instagram he boast of Thompson Ferrier customer service that is why I decided to contact them, but so disappointed to find out that my messages were seen and never responded. I guess I need to be a recognized interior designer with thousands of followers to be lucky to get a response.

Not good

I love your products but really upset because I order this candle as a Christmas gift and it’s been a month and I haven’t received my order yet!!!

Gold Elephant Candle

Disappointed in the delivery

I bought the gold elephant candle as a Christmas gift for my best friend. Let me start off by saying that she loves it. So I'm glad about that. My problem was with the shipping. I ordered on 12/3, but my order wasn't shipped until 12/14. Then there was a delay with the NJ USPS Distribution center. The order set there for another 9 days. By 12/22 I had to tell my friend that her gift unfortunately wasn't going to make it in time for Christmas. It arrived the next day, 12/23. So I was happy about that. Although I sent a note, she didn't realize it was from me because my name was misspelled on the note. My name is Stephanie, spelled the traditional way. The name on the card was spelled with an "f". We worked it out when I asked her about it. She was then able to let me know that she really loved it. I would give 5 stars first the product. I deducted 2 for the process. You all must know there's a problem with the NK USPS. You should find an alternative.

I bought two gold and one black elephant. The designs and scent of the candles are amazing. They add a touch of elegance to your home. Also, I purchased a white and a gold Pineapple for a gift. I recommend that everyone should buy and try these candles. You will not be disappointed. I love, love the designs and smell.
