Westhampton Beach: Where My Story Begins
When I think about the places that belong in the Thompson Ferrier Hamptons Journal, I look for businesses where the experience feels in line with how I think and an owner who aligns with my brand.
7 Fitness in Westhampton Beach fits that idea because the space is special, clean, serious, and very focused. The core motivation is a private facility focusing on strength and conditioning centered on personal training, performance-based coaching, structured programming, 24/7 key fob access, and recovery amenities. I would know this as I am a member.
The Owner’s Point of View
The first thing I respond to at 7 Fitness is Cody (the owner). He runs the place and makes me feel that this is my workout home. Cody is at your service. Cody Hoyt’s background is connected to athletics, teaching, training, and performance. That matters to me because the space feels connected to a person, not a corporate idea. At Thompson Ferrier, I feel the same way about our candles: the customer may see the vessel first, but behind the vessel is a founder’s point of view, decisions, corrections, and standards.
The Space is Built for Training
The architecture of 7 Fitness is Hamptons. Architecture being my background, I can appreciate the structure of the space while I work out. There is nothing like enjoying your workout and your environment. It feels like a facility made for people who want to train, move, recover, and improve, while training the mind. That connects to Thompson Ferrier because design must serve the experience; a candle vessel, a box, or a fragrance can be beautiful, but it also has to perform in the home.
Cleanliness Creates Trust
You have joined me on my live events and you know that my warehouse is immaculately clean. This private space is just that - clean and smells great. The equipment is also a pleasure to work out on. When a gym is clean, the equipment is cared for, the floor is cared for, and the space feels respected, the workout experience is part of a bigger picture of enjoyment. That is very close to how I think about Thompson Ferrier. If the finish of a vessel is polished, the packaging feels right, and the product arrives clean and considered, the customer trusts the brand before anyone explains anything.
Recovery Is Part of the Experience
7 Fitness includes recovery as part of the offering, with infrared sauna, barrel sauna, cold plunge, strength equipment, and private training listed on their site. I appreciate that because training is not only about effort; it is also about how you return to yourself after the effort. That connects very naturally to our Gold Buddha Candle in Palo Santo. The Buddha represents stillness, awareness, and ritual, and Palo Santo brings warmth and grounding into the room. After training, recovery becomes a ritual, the same way lighting a candle can become a ritual at home.
